Once upon a time in the bustling city of Zootopia, where animals of all shapes and sizes lived together in harmony, there lived three best friends: Judy Hopps the brave bunny police officer, Nick Wilde the clever fox, and Gary the Snake, a friendly python who loved solving mysteries. They shared a cozy apartment high above the city streets, filled with laughter and adventure every day.
One crisp winter morning, just as the sun peeked over the skyline, Judy, Nick, and Gary woke up to the sound of twinkling bells. Judy hopped out of her bed, her ears perking up. "What was that?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.
Nick stretched his bushy tail and yawned. "Probably just the wind, Carrots. But hey, what's that under our little Christmas tree?"
Gary slithered over, his scales shimmering in the morning light. "Look! Presents! Wrapped in shiny paper with big red bows. But... we didn't put them there last night."
The three friends gathered around the twinkling tree, their eyes wide with wonder. The presents were stacked neatly, each one labeled with their names. "Who could have left these?" Judy whispered, her nose twitching with excitement. "It's like magic!"
Nick grinned slyly. "Maybe Santa Paws came early this year. Or perhaps it's a sneaky fox prank... but wait, even I didn't do this!"
Gary coiled around one of the boxes curiously. "Let's open them and find out! Mysteries are my favorite."
Judy nodded eagerly. "Okay, but let's go one at a time." She picked up her present first, tearing open the wrapping with her tiny paws. Inside was a brand-new carrot pen, shaped just like a fresh orange carrot, with a shiny tip that wrote in bright green ink. "Oh wow! A new carrot pen! I've always wanted one to write my police reports. This is perfect!"
Next was Gary's turn. He used his tail to unwrap his gift carefully. Out popped a gleaming badge, just like Judy's police one, but with a snake emblem in the middle. "A badge? For me?" Gary exclaimed, his eyes sparkling. "Now I feel like a real detective! Sssuper cool!"
Finally, Nick opened his present with a playful flick of his paw. Inside was a beautiful photograph in a fancy frame, showing Judy and Gary laughing together on a sunny day in the park. "Hey, that's you two! My favorite buddies," Nick said, his voice soft with surprise. "This is... really thoughtful. Makes me feel all warm inside."

The friends looked at each other, still puzzled. "But where did these come from?" Gary asked.
Just then, Judy spotted a little note tucked under the tree. She read it aloud: "Merry Christmas, dears! We sneaked in last night to surprise you. Love, Mom and Dad Hopps."
Judy's eyes lit up. "It was my parents! They must have hopped all the way from Bunnyburrow just to make our morning special."
Nick chuckled. "Well, that's the best kind of surprise. Your folks are sneaky like foxes!"
Gary nodded happily. "And now we have these awesome gifts to remember it by. Let's call them later and say thank you."
The three friends hugged (well, Gary coiled around them gently), feeling the magic of friendship and family fill the room. As the snow began to fall outside, they knew this was the start of the most wonderful holiday adventure yet.
And they all lived happily ever after, in the heart of Zootopia. Sweet dreams, little one!
